[p]Met some folks who ended their camping trip early because their propane detector was going off. Both had a connection to their LPG line that when the detector went off it would shut the propane off. If you have a camper that is equipped with a propane detector, I would suggest you have the information regarding the unit available when camping. Both had determined they had no leaks and one determined the problem was with the 12 volt battery which would not hold a charge. The other could not determine how to reset the propane line.[/p][p]

I am not a big fan of propane detectors. On boats they seem to last about a year and then start going off randomly. I think the detector gets crud in it and after that it just randomly trips. I have disabled those on the boats I have owned and will do the same with the one on the LL when it goes TU.
Is TU an acceptable term Charlie? Well probably not, sounds a bit sexist perhaps. Oh well, WTF.
